"Forged by the earth. Refined by time. A quiet study in persistence."
A guava root, forged inside the mother earth.
Decades of pressure. Decades of patience.
It held the weight of a living tree through every storm that came.
It bent. It endured. It survived.
Only minor carvings and a careful polish remain of the human hand.
The rest is the earth's own work.
Persistence is the first sculptor.
The earth does the rest.
Artist Statement
For most of my life, I explored the world through science, engineering, and education.
Physics taught me to search for hidden order.
Engineering taught me to appreciate structure.
Technology taught me to recognize patterns.
Eventually I realized those same principles lived inside the earth itself — inside roots that held on for decades, refusing to let go.
My work begins with what the earth has already shaped. A guava root, pressed and grown through years of quiet resistance. I add only minor carvings and a careful polish — nothing more.
The survival is the story. I simply preserve it.
"Innovation taught me how to build.
Nature taught me how to see."

The Survivor is a guava root, forged inside the mother earth over decades. The form is the earth's own work — shaped by pressure, time, and survival. The artist adds only minor carvings and a museum preservation polish to bring out what nature has already written.
